Pre Purchase
Vehicle inspection and condition
All of the vehicles offered by the Dream Car Collective have been inspected by a trusted partner. We will make our best effort to answer any questions you may have, or get any information you may need in order to make an informed purchase.
All of the vehicles offered on our website have been carefully inspected. All known issues and/or flaws will be noted in the vehicles description.
With each vehicle we take it upon ourselves to learn as much about the history of the vehicle as possible. When available we run a vehicle history report. CarVX is our source for Japan and we use CarFax in the US. Otherwise, we do our best to verify the history of the car being sold and will disclose all known history in the auction listing.
The Collective is a network of licensed dealer/brokers, we source our vehicles from dealers, private party as well as acquire cars through the auction system. We have partners in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Netherlands and the US.
Simply sign up for a lifetime membership to gain full access to the website. You can place a bid as well as gain access the members area dashboard.
To provide the best experience to our members, it is important to us to ensure that we allow those who are serious about bidding on a vehicle to not be inundated with spam comments of no general relevance or bids by individuals whom have no intention of following through. Once a vehicle is purchased, the membership fee is refunded in full and the Lifetime Membership retained.
Vehicles are listed from our network of trusted partners. Each auction will be a standard format auction with reserve lasting seven (7) days in duration. Once the auction is concluded, the winning bidder will receive an invoice from the DCC for the buyers fee. Once the buyers fee is paid, a Revhard Motors specialist will work with you to complete transfer of ownership. This includes paperwork, transfer of funds, and logistics. Each vehicle will come with a U.S. Colorado title for U.S. bidders.
Payment and Paperwork
What happens after I win an auction?
From the time you place the winning bid, take delivery of the vehicle to well after the sale; we are here to support the entire process. We handle all customs forms and paperwork on your behalf.
Once the auction closes, we will bill you for the buyers fee of 5% up to $1250.00. From there a dealership specialist will assist you with the remaining paperwork. Once complete, we will send wire instructions for the balance.
The transaction will be conducted just as if you purchased a car from your local car dealership. The paperwork will be sent out for e-sign. A printed copy and temp tags will be delivered with the vehicle. In the background we will process all the foreign documents into a US title. The title will follow, typically within 30 days once the foreign paperwork clears the State.
While every state has different rules, an EPA form does come with the vehicle that states that it is federally exempt by way of 25 years of age. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL EMISSIONS LAWS PRIOR TO PURCHASE!

Shipping and Logistics
True door-to-door service
We have shipping and logistics partners all over the world to help assist with the safe arrival of your vehicle. From the time the winning bid is placed, to the moment it arrives at your door, we are here to help.
The vehicle will be transported from the source location to the port. From there, it is deregistered and loaded on the boat wether container or roll on/roll off shipping. The car then arrives at the U.S. port where the vehicle is unloaded and received by a port specialist. Once the vehicle clears customs, we will schedule for the vehicle to be transported directly to you. The complete process typically takes 90 days and you will be notified of every step along the way.
Container shipping tends to be the most secure way to ship a vehicle, especially rare or cars or cars with impediments that would make it difficult to load on the boat. Roll on, roll off, or roro as it is called is just that. The car is driven on, then driven off. Not as secure as a container, however, it is considerably cheaper. In all of our years of importing vehicles, most are brought in via roro without issue.
From the transporter who picks up the vehicle at the point of origin, the boat ride here, to the transporter to your door; the partners that we use are all licensed and insured.
